Coaching

Overcoming Negative Tendencies

Mental and emotional skills can be learned and strengthened to gain an edge on your opponents, just like the technical skills of your sport.

Every golfer has mental tendencies that block the path towards reaching their full potential. Some of these dominant habits are easy to identify, while others exist that you aren’t even aware of. When you are facing high-pressure situations these habits will find their way to the forefront and overpower your desire to be great. With proper mental skills training, you can gain emotional control over these negative tendencies, allowing you to turn adversity into an advantage when you’re under the gun.

“Coach I don’t know how to thank you for helping me these past two months. I was at a big standstill in my game and I am seeing improvement for the first time in awhile. I felt like I was much more in control of everything around me today.”

– Elite junior golfer from Georgia
